Tired of Microsoft?

Looking for something more attractive? Free?

You’ve heard so much about Ubuntu, want to try it, but don’t know where to begin? Scared of Linux?
And you don’t want to wade through the posts in the Ubuntu forums (although it’s an excellent resource)?

I’ll point you in the right direction!

Follow the steps outlined at Psychocat’s website. Psychocat will show you how to download Ubuntu properly, burn the CD, prepare your partitions, help you understand Ubuntu Linux, and also point you to other very useful resources.

Don’t worry, it’s all very easy! My grandmother can do it!

Don’t be scared of Linux! Yes, it’s different than Windows, but the learning process is fun and rewarding! You’ll eventually realize that Linux’s foundation is extremely strong and that Linux is the way an Operating System should be.

Have fun and don’t be shy to ask questions on the great Ubuntu forums! The Ubuntu community is awesome!

Psychocat’s. Great I was looking for that website, but forgot the name. Awesome. Now to tag with del.icio.us and cache with My Web.

Thanks for the heads up.

Agreed. The psychocat site has been an unbelievable help to me. It’s straight talk for people that don’t know as much about command line and the other little eccentricities of Linux.

Sugerencias puede haber muchas, y creo que todo el mundo opina de la mejor manera, pero la verdad es que está en cada uno de nosotros poder hacer lo que queramos. ,
