On October 26, 2006, Ubuntu 6.10 is scheduled to be released.
Although I’ve been wanting to download and test the Betas and Release Candidates, I’ve deliberately forced myself not to. I decided that I will wait for the final release to come out. Maybe I’m a little chicken, but mainly I’m just not prepared if something would go wrong. I don’t have any recent backups of all my data. Once I get that done, then I’ll allow the upgrade.
I’m hoping that this new release will fix my transparency problem that causes Ubuntu to crash. We’ll see…
